I love the fact that Aston is still making a V12 manual sports car. Last of a dying breed!

 

THIS will be the next collector car to own, last year of the NA V12 and manual tranny.

AMSHIFT feature is very cool, hopefully it's no where near as clumsy as its automated manuals development was over the years. If it's instantaneous, the. It should be a great feature.

 

Its about time. Only been asking for this car for three years. Will spec one out and see what the ask is.

 

This is an awesome car. I really like the dog-leg 7 speed manual transmission! Nicely done! Wow!

7 speed manual! How many people think they'd ever engage 7th in lieu of riding the RPM slightly higher to listen to the orchestra hidden somewhere behind the drivers seat.

 

Dog leg will make the 2-3 3-2 shifts around town so much more enjoyable

 

People said the same thing about the 09-12 V12V with a manual, then about the V12S as the last V12. They've already said next-gen Vantage will have manuals and they will surely produce many variants. I would be surprised if the next-gen Vantage doesn't eventually come with a V10 or V12 with a manual.

 

The original V12 was not the last of breed. Many more were made since then. Their prices reflect that accordingly. This gen will be the last to have the manual with the big NA V12, that's what makes it special.

 

I wonder when exactly they will hit the limit of current Vantages imported into the USA. First the '16 GT, then GTS, now the V12S manual, maybe GT8...

In any case I doubt they'll be discounting these like they did the SS V12S

 

Really great to see AM producing this car.
What's interesting is that it's limited to 100 units in North America, but as a regular edition elsewhere in the world. I though the US was the biggest market for manual sports cars these days

 

Was very hard sitting on this one for the last week and not saying anything.

This has been mooted for some time obviously, and there are a substantial number of cars sold already. I know of one dealer who has sold 9. And some dealers who are not taking any???
