2008 V8V Turn Interior Dome Lights Off?

This may be a dumb question, but is there anyway to turn the interior lights off when you open the doors? I have replaced all of the bulbs with cool white LEDs and sometimes I would rather have it dark when I open the door at night. For the life of me, I can find a switch for that (on most cars, turning the dimmer switch all the way to the right will activate that feature, but no dice on this car). Thanks!!

Yes, with the door open, I've tried to click on them and the light still stays on. I wonder if there is something wrong with my electrical system. Unless I'm doing something wrong?

Every single car I've had in the past had the option to disable the interior lights (when the car unlocks, when doors open, etc.). Is this possible with the 08' V8V?

Seriously, I don't have a manual, and I can't find a way to turn off the interior lights when the doors open for the life of me. Yes, when the doors are closed you can turn each of the map lights on and off with the buttons on the dash, but say you want them never to turn on?? The dimmer switch in most cars do this, but not so on my car. And that switch clicks in and out, but that doesn't do the trick as well... Short of popping the wedge bulbs out, is this possible? (Tried long holding the map light switch like in my BMW.. No dice as well)

Sounds like it isn't possible, then...

Ok, I just wanted to hear it from someone that has had the car for a while (I'm a newbie owner) or has a manual. Oh well! Thanks!
