The "Slam Panel in the engine bay...

I'm sure by now, a few of you know my appreciation of the carbon fiber "look".

I've just received a carbon fiber version from Astonbits.

I need to transfer the "inspection by" plaque.

My question is how do I remove it?

And what is the adhesive that is used to hold it in place?

Thanks!!!

it must be held by double sided tape, if you use fishing line and go back and forth it should cut the tape and leave you with an undamaged "inspection by" plaque. Just put new 3M double sided tape and install on your new slam panel. Take pictures to show us the end results.

Yes, pics please. I've looked but not yet in my budget. Had the bonnet emblem start to loosen up on my car. Cleaned the hood and emblem and used two layers of the 3M emblem tape because the backside was recessed a bit. It's not really tape but more of a gummy texture. Holding rock solid.

Slow process, but I'll be sure to provide pics of everything.
