Deep sea (batt tender)

Battery tender
I have a deep sea battery tender, when my genset was installed at my home the installation team decided to use a Italian brand (levato) the deep sea was left behind and I was told it was mine, these things just maintain batt voltage, because genset are for standby so it risks the batt going flat, now the question is can I use this on my vantage?
Reading about c tech and over priced Aston branded trickle chargers I don't want to damage my cars electronics.

Any comments on the deep sea? Despite its more industrial application

Deep Sea makes some pretty neat stuff. I first heard of them while doing research for a 2nd battery setup for my 4Runner (Hilux Surf?).

What's the connector for it look like?

the deep see is a 5 amp intelligent charger, I have no other data, it designed to maintain a batt in a genset, currently it has no connectors, it has normal AC in, and then terminals for the charge output, I would have to connect wires and a lighter adapter.
