Was anyone invited to see the new GT8?

It's basically a limited edition v8 version of the GT12 per all the articles.

The car is lighter due to extensive carbon fibre use and will be limited to only 150 units. Who's getting one?

 

I think I saw somewhere that it's going to cost as much as 200k GBP... $280k, that's harsh. But I'd love to see what parts can swap over to the standard V8Vs

The diffusers on this thing look massive!!

If I win the lottery tomorrow, I would expand the number is Astons in my garage before I thought of buying another marque.

The badge is an accessory, carbon fiber wing crest. We have a V8 Vantage GT demo with it

 

You can get those on their own to put on your car.... If I remember correctly, they're $2k!

 

Should be basically a GT12 body kit with a V8 in it... But $243k sticker is absolutely retarded lol

If GT8's 4.7L has an output of 470HP, that could justify the cost.

 

That carbon fiber emblem doesn't look good in real life, like a piece of plastic

 

I think it looks awesome in person. I was at the dealership in Charlotte last fall and they had a few cars with them. Looked pretty cool to me.

 

Anyone have a closeup picture of it?
