Used Vantage Price

Hey gang
Long time admirer, first time poster. Looking at potentially getting into the world of Aston. Have been looking at some older Vantage models and curious re: what I should be looking at for a price range. I'm up in Canada and they are a bit few and far between. There is a 2007 Vantage V8 with on 8000 miles selling for ~$54000 US......and another 2006 with 30000 miles for $42 0000 US....

any advice thoughts would be appreciated thanks!

If you can afford it, get a 2009 or newer

I am in Ontario and you are correct, they are hard to find specially the one worth looking at. Right now is not the best time to buy as the price goes up when the summer arrive, the best time is starting in Aug/Sept but... I would suggest like Prefurbia said, 2009 or newer as that was the updated model, motor, suspension, trans... I would also look for a 6sp manual but that is your choice.

In the fall last year there were a few 2007 Vantage 6sp manual for around $54,000 cdn. Good luck in your chase

I have a 2007 V8V roadster. I was looking at a sweet Audi RS5 and tried to trade it in. Dealer offered me $43,000. But at least he was willing to sell me the new car for sticker price.

I kept the Aston. Makes me smile every time I start it!

the pricing you show is about right for pricing in South Africa for the years, if this is of any help, also Astons fall to a level and will never really go down below a certain level.
They remain a classic and cult car so no matter what you will always enjoy owning it, I would suggest that you look for car with no history of damage and note the darker colours are easier to sell if you ever need/want too. Metiorite Silver/ black interior is always a seller, red with cream interior is more difficult to sell on.
But note these puppies are expensive to maintain if your fussy so look at clutch and breaks, and ask here before you spend.

Just bought a 09 with the pricey Porsche pearl white paint option and pricey sandstorm and white 2 tone interior with 27k KM or 15k miles for$79000CAD or $59000 USD. Thought that was a pretty good deal. I have never seen another pearl white optioned vantage before.

I see what you mean, I don't think I ever saw another one in that Perl White... Those purple door sills really don't match the interior color, I don't know what they were thinking. They should have gone with the graphite grey like the door pulls. Congrats and enjoy the summer months

Yup so far so good. Actually go and pick up the car on Thursday when I get back in the country. Pretty excited. Already trying to find new wheels I like. I'm not a game of the OEM wheels it came with. Looking for some Vantage S wheels
