I see you have a Carrera S? Are you thinking of trading that? I've got a 05 (6speed) DB9 I'm mentally preparing myself to sell and want to get a 997 Carrera S or 4S.

Kinda, sorta. I drove an '08 Sports Pack 6AT recently and was in love with most of the car with the exception of the underwhelming auto transaxle. I left not wanting to part with my 911 just yet, though I imagine a manual car would make a compelling argument to switch. I know everyone would suggest a Vantage as it's more lively and more frequently found with a manual, but I just love the proportions of the bigger Aston, and love the idea of owning a big V12 car.
