Long story short, I peeled off the 9 yr old clear bra along the entire side skirt/rocker panel/lower rear fender area.

I now am looking for the a replacement for just the small triangular piece that was on that lower rear fender area just above the one piece side skirt.

Does anyone know if there's a factory part # replacement that's readily available? or will I have to seek out aftermarket options?

 

Did taking it off hurt the paint at all?

 

No sure didn't, tried to take my time with it though, wasn't easy. Wish I actually had a steamer it would've made it much easier and quicker.

This is for a DBS and I should've been more clear as I'm looking for the replacement for a V8 Vantage, unless this will fit interchangeably?

 

Go to Aston Martin Bits .com, select V8 Vantage, enter "tape" in search box. All those 3M clear stone guards are there. I'd provide a link but I think that's a no-no unless the site is a sponsor.

FWIW, a good clear bra/ wrap installer can do this with Expel for a lot less than these AM parts. Since you are in ATL, I send you a PM- a buddy of mine is the best installer in the SE.

I agree with Cattman. The helicopter tape used by AM tends to yellow with time. I had a local installer replace mine and he made it a little larger for better coverage and has a more graceful curve to it and looks better. Had him do the entire rocker panel at the same time. This was over a year ago and no rock chips anywhere.
