DSC service with traction control disabled.

While taking a overpass off ramp my car 09 V8V gave me a DSC warning saying that a DSC service was required and disabled my traction control. Also is occasionally giving me a ice warning I the middle of the winter while driving down the highway. Has anyone seen this before. Could it be a wheel speed sensor.

Check your outside air temp display and see if that matches the actual temp outside. When that sensor goes bad, all hell breaks loose lol

That sensor is wrong and it decided to swap to F from C the other day. Are you serious.

Ice warning is normal at +3 Celcius.

I had the DSC/TC lights recently. Dealer swapped wheel speed sensors side to side; turned out they were fine but I needed a new wheel hub assembly. Problem solved.

If you're getting an ice warning when it isn't 3C or below (say, when it's 10C out), then you likely have a bad outside temp sensor. It's the easiest thing to check because it gives you an actual reading, and it's easy to replace.

If that sensor is fine, then look at the wheel speed sensors and hubs.

I thought the ice warning would come from the traction control sensors. I think I may have 2 issues. Wheel speed hub sensors and temp sensor.

Ice warning comes on automatically at 3C/37F. Haven't heard of ice warnings being triggered by anything else but haven't exactly asked, either.

Has anybody experienced issues with the DSC. When I take a prolonged hard corner I get a traction control warning then my traction control kicks out and there is a Dsc service required warning. Shutting down and restarting the car resets the codes.

I had the traction control light flickering on long sweeping curves at 60+ mph, but no messages or codes. Then things degraded to the point where almost every drive ended up with codes, messages, and no DSC.

Had the dealer check the wheel speed sensors, ended up replacing the hub assembly. No issues now.

I figured it may be a wheel speed hub sensor. What did it cost for the hub and change out.
