Driver door panel off... What else needs to come out/off so I can replace driver door lock acuator. Part where door physically locks onto car... Any help appreciated.

 

Sorry I can't help on the tech side, but I had one side done last year as my doors would go into an alternating one side locked - other side not pattern.

It was "fixed" for a little while - maybe 10 outings over a period of months. But it's back again. Then, last Friday I met up with some other 07 Vantages. We ALL had issues trying to lock our doors! Everybody had a different incantation they had to do to get both doors to lock.

Seems insane to me that something like door locking is this unreliable.

 

Thanks for the post. I'm trying to figure out how to replace the mechanism. My issue was window drop w door handle stopped... But how to get the part out is a puzzling challenge.
