Just watched a segment of All Girls Garage. Without commenting on the girls
Mechanical skills , they installed a Paxton supercharger on a 2016 Corvette . This kit did not replace the intake manifold . It bolted just ahead of the Throttle body and forced compressed air via an inter cooler directly into the throttle body. An additional 200 horsepower is claimed. There was no modification to the ecu as far as I could tell. I realize the Astons are a small market, but they have deep pockets I am convinced that a reputable company (Eldobrock, Paxton etc.) could develop a supercharger for our cars and that it would be financially prudent.

 

Vortech and GMR Systems make superchargers for the V8 Vantage.

And I'd strongly question any claim of triple-digit horsepower gains without ECU (and other) modifications.

 

It is not so much making the SC work as it is making all the piping and getting the ECU to have the right air/fuel mixture, timing and so forth.

Also have to wonder how long that engine will last.
