There is a motorcycle gatherings at Sturgis each year where one of the highlights is a burnout box. The motorcycle is placed so the front wheel is immobilized. The rider then guns the engine and releases the clutch. The burnout ends when the rear tire is destroyed. The winner is who can destroy the tire in the least amount of time. Not sure I understand the fun in this, but a few beers seem to make everything alright.
