Guess you are not DIYer or you would know why I liked. I can go a buy a Duc anytime, but one that is built by hand and is unique, is something special.

To bad you are so narrow minded.
I build custom bikes as a hobby too, won best concourse a few times in my life, despite that if I may be bold enuff to say... I prefer the MD500 Helicopter over the old Bell 47, when I'm at the sticks, both are fantastic machines, possibly your definition of agile and mine are different....
Difference is I did not say I can buy a duc.......I just did , cos as good as my hand skills are I cannor replicate the 205 HP it deliveres.

Besides all the classic bikes I have owned and restored I have yet to find one that gets its head up as fast as the new 1299 ,.... Unless you beg to differ with fact?

Anyone have a stock red LH tail light handy that works????

At least the Duc is working.....

Should have been more clear, meant I can buy a Duc at anytime, but to me a hand built bike is special to me, for its uniqueness and knowing that I have a one of a kind bike.

20 or so years ago, agile meant something different than it does today, i.e. I cannot push that bike to its full potential, so both are about the same to me in agility.
