Stalling on hills

Vantage 2015 stick occasionaly
Stalls in hills. Feels like the brake release doesn't always release correctly. Anyone else encounter this? Any suggestions to avoid. I've been driving sticks for decades. Should I be concerned about any possible possible harm to vehicle. Only happens occasionaly

These cars are definitely harder to find the clutch catch/grab point... I did stall it a few time at the beginning of the summer but now with 9,000km behind me I haven't stalled it in months.

Some Hills you need to time delay your clutch release to prevent stalling. Meaning, release brake and wait 1&1/2 seconds then ease the clutch. Also if your brakes are hot they may stick also. Hill assist works well to take the anxiety from people that are scared of hills. Unfortunately it trips up the person that's mastered it on their own.

The newer cars have anti roll right? Its such a weird feeling / feature, when I drive my buddy's m3 I stalled on hills as well.

You almost have to slip the clutch more and give it more gas when you commit to clutching out so the brakes releases. It feels so weird because I could of done it better myself without the hill assist.
