I have 2007 DB9 had trouble reinstalling aoirbox so took loosened clamp from outlet tube to give more manuevrability,seemed easy enough just inserted screwdriver under clasp and came apart,not so easy closing it anyone run into this problem,basically clasp has to fit over bar and its in a crappy location,thx

 

I usually use channel lock pliers and squeeze it back together. Just grasp the 2 round pegs on either side and squeeze till it is closed.

 

You need a right kids of tool then it takes like a second.
I don't know what's it called or wher I bought it but here is the picture.

Ok I found it if you search "long click clamp" on eBay you will find it for about $20. You could check harbor freight too.

It has rotating head with each head has uneven ends one large and one small. If I remember correctly you need to align those rotating heads such that on one side you use larger portion and on other side you use smaller part.
