Order from V Collection

I placed an order for floor mats for my Vantage from V Collection 5 weeks ago. I received the automated payment confirmation email but I have not gotten any responses to inquiries left on their website or by phone. I realize this is a custom order and will take time but I am getting concerned by the lack of response. Does anyone know if they are still in business? Thanks.

I ordered a set of floor mats from Nicholas at the V collection for my 2016 Vanate GT. It took about 6 to 8 weeks to receive them. I usually communicated by phone and I did find it it was hard to get a response in a timely manner. Sometimes it took me several phone calls till he actually answered the phone. And then I would usually get a reply by email sometimes by phone. Once I did receive the mats they were exactly a specified and of high-quality.

They are, I would say don't worry, but do email them again asking for an update. I made a very large order from them 3 weeks ago and am in the same boat. Identical boat. However, I also know they were waiting on one of my part to be made for them to ship mine. So kinda expected this for my part. I bet, they are just waiting on the mats to be finished before sending you tracking numbers. However, a response is warranted. I am sure Nicholas will respond soon. I just sent one to him to help us both out, I mentioned you in it also.

Thank you both for the replies. I feel better now and I will keep waiting. I read good reviews about them so I am looking forward to receiving my floor mats.

Over the years I've emailed them with questions and product information and more often then not I wouldn't get a reply.. So much so I just quit trying. Good luck.

Just got this in from Nicholas: Appears everything is in line with what they are promising!!!! I am satisfied at this point.
I am ONLY posting this response from them, to show the OP the complete reason why we both wondered what was going on. This explains that. I would otherwise never post an email from someone else out onto the web like this. Thought this would help all parties.

Andrew, how are you?

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you.

We have our annual shut down from October 8th to 23rd, we do this every year since we work straight through the holidays.

I have been away with my family on vacation in a very remote place with very little and intermittent reception. There should have been an automatic email responding to emails. I am very sorry if you were not receiving them. I have just emailed my tech to rectify this.

My parts manager informed me prior to leaving and closing the facility that we were waiting on the custom boxes we have made for the splitters to arrive in. They didn’t come in on the 7th October as planned. Thus, after our phone conversation about your order, I remember you mentioned that you will not be back with the car until December. Thus, I informed my parts manager that we will wait for the splitter boxes to arrive and will ship them out this week coming (Starting October 24th).

I trust that this decision is ok with you, also with the knowledge that the diffuser/splitter take less than an hour in total to affix the products.

Once again, sorry for the misunderstanding and thank you for your patience.

Kind regards

Nicholas

I am you glad both of you finally got communications from Nicholas, hopefully this will ease your reservations about working with this company.
As I stated I did order some floormats for my 2016 Vantage. it took 6 to 8 weeks and I did receive them as promised and they were as advertised.
I've worked with a lot of automotive accessory companies over my 59 years and the one thing I keep coming back to is communication communication communication not a lot of them follow through with this simple task.
I do think if he is closed every year at the same time for the same amount of time, there should be a message not only through his emails and his phone number and his website.
Ron
