This is the result of what happened to Dad's Vantage when he was out of town.

 

Well of course you have to explain what happened.

 

Two teenage boys took it out for a drive, around 1:00am it came to rest in White Rock Lake in Dallas.

 

I have a better post title:
"Man in Vantage drives off bridge into canal"

 

and, hopefully, said teens are in the slammer now?

 

How about Criminals in stolen Vantage drives off bridge into canal?

 

Or, how to get the water out of my taillights?

 

Well, it was dad's car so his son is probably not a criminal and nothing was said about it being stolen.
I know, splitting hairs here.....

 

so whose car is this really? and what happened? or was it just some picture that was found randomly...confused.

You cant say that, that's offensive and might hurt the feelings of the teenagers. If they only intended to drive it for a little bit and didn't intend to actually steal it and put it in the canal, then charging them can only be "Unauthorized use of vehicle" not a felony stolen car charge. Its all because they likely didn't "intend" to do that. Remember, these teenagers likely were headed off to College soon to be doctors and engineers. I bet the photo in the paper of them was one showing them at 12yrs old wearing a button down shirt
