It is amazing how delirious BaT posters can get. They need to do some research before they make statements such as: "With low miles and mint condition with all maintenance up to date they are trading at mid 30s." Ones with salvage/rebuilt titles are. Try in the $40k and over range for cars as he is describing. Even DeMuro's car sold for $36k with almost 60k miles on it and a clear title (and a quick sale to another internet video creator).

but it might be good as a donor car to fix one that got into an accident, as you don't go very far before you hit $10,000 in AM parts

... if I had the space, I'd try to pick it up to make it a dedicated track car. Rip the interior out, drop it to the ground, add some aero...

Hard to tell for sure from the pics, but the exterior looks decent. The interior has some major issues, but all fixable. If you got it for the right price and did some of the work yourself you could wind up with a nice car for pretty cheap.

Holy smokes, the binnacle leather can shrink that far?! Wow.

After I just got in mine and saw the repaired upper pass dash has pulled free again. The same piece I bought a new one to replace, that I'll probably have to replace often.

I've seen plenty of cars with 150k+ miles on them that are still like new. I'd expect someone would take better care of a car that cost $130k when it was new.

I like the track car idea, seems like it would be perfect for that.

I've never seen a car with 150k miles that didn't look like it had 150k miles on it. If it's $13k or $130k, it's still a car. It's still used for transportation, and during such it will be peppered, and scuffed, and backed into, and lots of other things that are going to reveal it's mileage and age. If a car with 150k on it looks like new then it was probably just restored. Maybe that's because I live in a metropolis, but that's the way it is here.

LOL, that must be because you live in New Jersey I see hi mile cars all the time that are not restored and still look perfect. Just last night I saw a 2003 BMW 330xi with 186k on it original paint and interior and it was flawless. Literally looked like a brand new car. Plus it is currently owned by a 20 year old kid! Last week I saw a 2000 BMW 323ci that I used to own that now has 165k on it and still looks brand new. There are tons of cars like this around here.

And 50,000 miles of empty roads

I can see where you could get some clean high mile cars, lots of long highway drives etc.

These aren't cars that were driven in winter and still mint?
