Tempted to get the Vantage V12S Manual
I drove the White with orange V12S Coupe you see in the road tests last year. While its better than the Sport Shift version its nowhere near as good as my six speed car. It figures since that transmission was never meant to have a manual adapted to it. Very narrow gates and a pointless dog leg. I found myself thinking more about making a good shift than driving the car. Overall the shifter detracts form the driving experience. Thats' why there are a number of these cars still sitting and 911 Rs are bringing big blue sky. I am waiting for the new Vantage but I will never give up my V12 manual coupe.
It's going to drop in value and you would have to hold it a long time to get your money back. I bought a new vantage s soft top in 2012. It stickered for 179500 and I got it for 155000 out the door and its worth about half of what I paid for it even with a 42ooo discount. Good luck buy it to enjoy'
