In general (with few exceptions), PPF is not an option that most customers should get through the dealership. The problem with dealerships are they tend to hire vendors that give them the highest margin. In most cases, the ones willing to give them the cheapest prices are the new companies. When looking for PPF installers, always look for customer reviews. Then go in to the shop in person and look at the work in person. Most reputable / experienced company will have examples of their installation on cars they are working on.

Did anybody have xpel film applied on door edges ? I got it applied when I bought the car. It was really crooked. I didn’t bother. Now there is lot of dirt. They just cleaned and trimmed the edges (it seems). It still looks bad. I am giving them another chance to fix it or will file warranty claim. Any thoughts ? Here are some pictures.
