A month ago the CD deck in my 2007 V8V quit, showing a DECK ERROR message on the dash, and of course not giving back the CDs inside. I removed the unit last week and found a replacement unit online. I install it tomorrow. The unit was a Volvo 30679804-1, labeled CD-CP1. The used replacement is identical but for the date code.
To get my CDs back, I had to disassemble the old unit - the mechanical failure inside was obvious.
