Finally Pulled The Trigger (Just Purchased 2007 V8V)
After nearly 2 years of researching and deliberating, I've finally purchased a 2007 V8V Coupe, manual transmission, Titanium in color, 16xxx mi., from an Aston dealership in Atlanta. I was a little leary of doing this over the phone...without seeing the car in person. I spoke with the salesman four or five times before we got down to business. He sent me all service records, carfax, car history etc., as well as tons of pics.
It's a one owner vehicle, and at my request, the dealer contacted the original owner and got his permission for me to call him. He said it was a very good car, and he only had minor issues which were fixed by the dealership. About 2 years ago his battery went dead, and the dealership checked for any kind of trickle and didn't find any....and replaced with a new battery. An oil leak was discovered during an oil change and the dealership fixed it. Several emmissions control modules were also replaced per Aston Martin bulletins.
The owner said he leased the car through his company, and just prior to bringing the car in for a new one, he had new tires and brakes put on the car per the lease agreement. The car has been Aston certified, as I also purchased a 2 year extended warranty through Aston Martin.
I'll be flying to Atlanta in the next 10 days to pick the car up and drive it home. I just retired from my job and I'm truly looking forward to the experience. I've posted many times on this website with questions, and I want thank eveyone for for their input......it's much appreciated. Thanks Chris
