Definitely one of the 'joys' of British car ownership

 

I'm absolutely in the same boat. I knew the car wasn't quite worth what I was paying but it was spec'd exactly as I wanted and I hadn't seen another like it in my two years of searching and the dealer wouldn't move much so I took the plunge anyway. In the two years since I've had it I still haven't seen another that I'd rather own so I'm still happy with my decision.

 

I looked for a year and then the one popped up 20 miles away... private sale PPI and recent service history at local Aston dealer...and had every option, good color combo, custom wheels, exhaust etc I looked and said his price was more than I wanted to pay and he said he was firm... told him GLWS...A month or so later he called me to make him am offer. . I made a low ball offer... he accepted ... After the deal he said he forgot but the original Sport Pack wheels were also included.

I think i did real good... ready and did walk away but was able to come back on my terms... really enjoying the car

 

You're always in a position of strength if you can walk away from the deal.

 

I think it is fun to see this car going around.
It just can go up from Tavarish.

This phenomena wonders me for a while.

If you would have told me 4 years ago I can have an Aston Vantage for 36k, I would have thrown a grand extra in for excitement.
