Winter is just cold. Snow prep is different. Salt, brine, etc. You know there is very little steel in these cars and on the cast aluminum the worst it gets is white crystalline oxide surface corrosion that would disappear with a spray of sodium hydroxide. I was going to ask if they'd let me take my drivetrain out back and spray it down when it was out of the car but pretty much knew the answer was going to be no, considering there's no place to take it there's not a Rolls or Bentley within 20 feet. So IMO there is no reason not to drive the car year round, I just don't use it as a snow plow. If there's too much snow on the roads for the original tires I'm just not going anywhere. If I have to, Enterprise will pick me up!

Anyone who drives an Aston in the winter in the salt has no respect for a fine automobile. I can't even relate to them. Evolution 4 cover is what I would use for storage but that leaves the critters which are a real threat. I like the bubble......best protection.
