I would consider getting all the fluids & filters up to date, but that's it. You'll have a piece of mind and solid starting point. Nothing on the list is going is to leave your stranded or limit your use of the car.

Most of these appear to be interior related, which may or may not be a big deal, but can provide a bit of leverage.

I'd look more closely at 2 items.

-Door seal - Maybe minor, but good to ask for.
-Tail light - if it's got condensation, get it replaced. These will often leak, and are expensive to replace. If left, they can fail (learned from experience...).

And of course, get them to replace the pen

Most of these are not bad repairs at all, nothing seems to be popping out to me indicating this is a poor example. Seems to be normal wear and tear items

A none inscribed Lamy is about $30 on eBay? I replaced the missing one on the Vantage. Passengers get hoot out of that option.

IMO, that's a great car. A PPI on an older car is always going to turn up some issues. What you're really looking for is major items. In this case, the list revealed nothing that will leave you stranded on the side of the road. FWIW, I say the PPI indicates the rear brake pads are aftermarket. And!? The first thing I did was put aftermarket pads on my car very soon after I bought it. So, that's one example of something that's not really a big deal.

A good number of the items listed are normal issues that present themselves.

flittlejr is on a distinguished road
Most items can be done outside AM dealer which cuts price in half. Redpants.lol has some great videos on repairs that you listed, and also has OE parts at much lower price

The upper arms are known to shift(it's not a B.S call..it's very true), which result it hitting the chassis and also throwing off the alignemnt, to teh point of not having the ability to get into alignment spec.

The only cars that don't have this issue on the VH platform are models +13MY (not including Vantage V8/V12 unless talking about GT8/V12VS). Those newer models have a metal sleeve bushing where-as the older models have a plastic sleeve. I can literally take a small hammer and tap the old one out. The issue is the arm is aluminum and you cannot replace bushing in this type of arm, the bushing would continue to slide. So new arms are installed to resolve the issue. When ever the issue is customer pay, I give the option to install the newer arms into the older models. Makes it stiffer and less prone to failure in short time.

Stuff like leather trim and mag scratches are your choice.

The rear tires are finished and most likely the front is expired if more than 6 years old(build date in DOT number)..they get dry and crack in threads, increasing chance of failure on road when pressure increases with driving.

Fuel door, it's stuck, don't really have a choice to resolve or pull the release cable and constant tweaking of lid. (unless actuator is seized then no tweaking will resolve)

Tail light is on the list, not sure why..condensation?

Brake pads re aftermarket..could be a good thing, could be a bad thing....all depends on quality

Does the suspension make noise when this is happening?

Like a knock noise, hard braking for both, and when doing full lock-side-to-side that's for front and hard takes for rear

the 10grand s2k guy would pass on one that needs new wiper blades because the dealer says its unsafe.

will repeat again as others came in on, if it DRIVES perfect, it is fine. race cars do 240mph at le mans held together literally with ductile and zip ties. if it drives like **** or doesn't feel nobody with a brain cares (like .4% of owners) what the ppi says it doesn't need bushings etc its a pile of dog****

if you dont have a friend who knows a ton about them and you'd bet your life on his honesty then your only choice is to hire an independent ppi service that doesn't preform work OR sales of any kinds, strictly ppi only or become the experience yourself

Very true, but this car isn’t just being driven on track or Le Mans. Probably going to be in the street of LA or similar where you can get sued for almost anything. Being a quotation was given, if one of those parts fail and cause an injury or death(increased braking distance because of expired tires ..etc)...your looking at involuntary man slaughter charges. Is it really worth the hassle if it’s only a PPI? Don’t be fooled by mileage , stored cars are the most prone to leaks and cracked bushing.
