just pulled the AOS out for inspection and cleaning,sure enough it is leaking at the O ring,as covered in past threads. the part # on the AOS is 6G33-6B673-AA , checking out a new AOS the part # is 6G33-6B673-AB.
just wondering if the AA to AB means it has the updated O ring ?

Sorry I didn't read your question very well, yes as I recall the AB is the newer o-ring, however I think only the fatter one is supplied now. My dealer only had the larger type.
thanks Logannz, i was hoping it was updated. just wanted confirmation ,after reading the old thread from back a few years "member irish" pointed out that a new AOS would not solve the problem,only the fatter O ring would. glad to here that AM picked up on this problem and the new AOS comes fatter fitted...

I never replaced mine, have 7K mile on my car, maybe i should. i called galpin parts dept, they want $65 I think it's little too much..

6G33-6B673-AB is for the whole separator, you only need the o-ring. If yours isn't leaking, I would just leave it alone. Once it does leak, then replace the o-ring. The leak is more of a seeping - you'll notice oily grime building up on the separator and hose coming from the bottom of the separator.
Do you sell this parts?
Looks like a new OEM AOS unit #6G33-6B673-AB is ~$35 and a straightforward DIY job. Still wondering if the O ring itself is available separately since that is the faulty part. Anyone using an alternative from Ford, Jag etc.?
