It took a year to build but she’s finally here! New V12VS

This is the first car I purchased to my exact specs. Ordered the car March of 2017 and after some delays, I finally received the car a few weeks ago. This replaces a 2017 Audi R8 V10 Plus which I sold recently with only 2000 km on it. It’s barely been a month and I’ve put 900 km on the Aston already! I love this car.

Quick specs:

Speedway white - Q spec change
Bitter Chocolate Alcantara and leather, Californian Poppy accents and stitching - Q spec change
GT12 door cards - Q spec change
Carbon fiber interior trim pack
Black Side Window Surround
Lightweight wheels graphite with corsa
Q - Brake Callipers: Orange (CCM) - Q spec change
B&Os, black grills
Red Tail lamps - Q spec change
Centre Plate: Carbon Fibre (including utility lid)
Rotaries: Black w/ Anodised Orange Lowers - Q spec change
Q Fender Badge: White Enamel Infil
SPORT PLUS PACK GRAPHIC: DELETE - Q spec change

Still awaiting the following dealer installed options:
CF engine manifold brace
CF hand brake
V12 Vantage Performance Pack
AMR Aero Kit

I’m also getting a set of carbon buckets...the sports seats aren’t that comfortable.

Here are some pics:

Can’t wait for the performance pack to be installed. I hope it sounds close to the GT12....

Wow, great spec! Love the GT12 door cards, in particular. That's a long wait, but worth every minute. Can't wait to hear your impressions of the performance pack, since you've had a chance to drive the car in non-performance pack state first.

Curious as to your choice of red taillights. Do you not like the clears? IMHO it would look better with those.

those carbon fiber door cards with the bitter chocolate leather look awesome!

Why didn't you get a manual though?

Hopefully I'll be ready to upgrade to something like this in 5-7 years... Keep me in mind and I'll buy it from you!...

Just don't put too many miles on it, get it maintained properly and keep it waxed or PPF'd...

Thanks and I'll talk to you in 5-7 years... Let me know where to pick it up!

Well, the clear lights with the white paint looked like it lacked a bit of contrast. And the Altezza ruined the clear lights for me

I was thinking hard about the manual vs. sportshift question but since most of my other toys are manual and with the worsening traffic situation here I figured I’d use the car more with the sport shift. I also found the manual’s spacing to be quite tight and was worried about the money shift. What decided it for me was that at the time of my order the performance pack was only available with the sport shift.

Thanks everyone for the compliments...spec’ing the car took a really long time! I’m really happy with the way it turned out!

I chose the orange calipers to tie in with my interior. But after having taken delivery, I noticed that the exterior needs a bit more orange but I’m not too keen on adding graphics. So I figured the Q badge with orange and white infills (it’s en route) plus maybe replacing the wings with something bespoke might do it. Subtle.

I’m choosing among these? Any thoughts?

So far I’m leaning towards this:

I would alternate the wings in orange/white .7th from the bottom image
Also what is the badging below the side strake in front of the side repeater ?

All orange, but with black lettering. Just my .02c
