I think the most interesting thing about the DB11 AMR is that in the future this will be the only way that you will be able to order a V12 in Coupe form. Not sure if the Volante's will go the same route.

So now AMR will have a model/version unique to the moniker.

It seems that AML is attempting to create a performance house sub brand similar to AMG Mercedes, M and Alpina BMWs, RS Audi's, .......

They are attempting to expand the model range without creating new cars. Like owning a plain Aston Martin is not exclusive enough for some potential buyers. Being such a low volume manufacturer I have serious doubts that this is a winning strategy but time will tell.

 

Now I am not really a fan of these new AM's, but this DBR11 literally made my jaw drop. This is how they should be produced, I don't know if this is a rendering or real

 

wow.. yes thats how the cars should look.. I hate the chinless look that both the 11 and the new vantage have.

 

I'm tired of their focus on track posers. Where's the gentleman's car? Date nights and such?
