End of an Era Vantage V600

The last 14 2018 Vantage V600’s will close out the run of these fantastic cars.

This vantage is absolutely beautiful. It’s weird that the DBS grill looks very similar. Why couldn’t the new vantage get that grill? I hope to see one of these someday but with only 14 it’s pretty unlikely.

Interesting that they went back to the original side skirts (which were never on the V12) for the last car. Pretty cool. This, last grill, looks kind of like the Joker smiling. I'm just glad they didn't put red lipstck on it.

The grill is really just a version of the Rapide S design, so no surprise there. The V600 was a customer-commissioned design and he agreed to allow an additional 13 copies to keep his costs down. So this car represents one man's vision of a swan song V12 Vantage, not really the factory's.

Yes, IMO AM should have hired the guy to design the new Vantage!

There was a thread on this quite a number of months ago. While I like the idea in principle (wealthy enough to commission a bespoke design, NA V12, manual etc.), I am not a fan of the end result. I think the car is uglier than the 'regular'/production V12V(S), despite the cool details like the carbon fibre switchgear. As an example of a bespoke commission that improves on the regular model, IMO the GT12 roadster from a few years ago stands out.

Unlike the new Vantage, I LOVE this car.

Not a fan of what they did, but cool to see at least a few more of the last gen cars get built.

I've seen this one in person. Quite stunning as all the panels are Q special and carbon. That said, I seem to vaguely recall(?) the price was about 1.2M pounds/1.5M USD!
