That said, I like the back, but not a fan of the big grill up front - reminds me of a Hyundai

 

Hyundai front, Honda back. Luke warm reception and disappointing sales. The new CEO has a big uphill road to travel. I hope he does it.

 

I love the Vantage, especially in person. I could see why Aston purists wouldn't feel the same though.

 

The other issue is the AMG motor. So there are are two separate reasons to dislike it. Makes a nice Venn diagram of ‘yuck’.

 

Knowing it's a Mercedes engine is the biggest let down on the new Vantage for me.

Is the writing on the wall that as soon as Stroll turns around AML, it's going to be acquired by Mercedes? BMW and VW both have their exotic marques, yet MB doesn't...

 

Old thread, as someone who debated db11 and went with a db9 on looks alone, I think the new cars are great it's just that the previous gen designs were so perfect that they are almost impossible to top. Although in my mind the new Ferrari Roma looks more of an Aston evolution than the current AM cars.

 

Been inquiring about the new vantage as I have the itch... base price for a new manual coupe is 140k vs 147k for the automatic sooo roughly 911 GTS (when it comes out) price range

if you want the new grill face, thats a $2300 option

I have pricing on a ton of other options so if you want to know, just ask

You can easily spec a car from a base stripper to 225k if you want a ton of carbon and fancy paint

kind of tempted to do a one year old or leased though, and skip the manual... they have insane depreciation
