Vantage depreciation...how low can it go?
I had a sportshift Vantage and traded it away. I missed the Vantage but not the sportshift. So I had to get another Vantage this time with a manual. I like it so much that it has become a permanent part of my collection. Will have to wait and see if the DB11 will stay with me for the long haul. So far it is a really nice car but I think I still like my Vantage better. The 430 is a nice car more modern but a manual 430 will cost you an extra hundred grand over the f1 transmission.

So my choices are:
Vantage Manual (Coupe or manual)
V12 vantage manual
F430.
Trade in the current vantage roadster. Or i was thinking another thing i could possibly do is just daily drive it! but cluth changes will get expensive!
No my older daughter is a nurse practitioner here in Florida and my younger daughter is a cpa working here in Florida.
thats my dilemma Gene. Few years ago, aston dealer was giving me over 55k for mine and i was appalled. Not even sure what i would get now, but probally 40k. I should have done it and gotten the manual!

IMO-V8 Vantage with manual trans will bottom out in low 60's & will start going up.... it's getting very hard to find v8 manuals with low miles. Personally for me v8 manual is better than v12, but that's my opinion. I drove all v12 manual & sport shift cars, owned v8 sport shift & v8 manual (currently own) V12 feels little unbalanced. too heavy in front.
Sportshift will go do 30's . if you have good color combo car with low miles & good service record, you can still get 40-50k. all depends on year, condition....

I don't see any car year 2013 & up, with under 10k miles, with no accidents & clean service records for under 60K, if you found one, thats pretty good deal.
