CardiffArms is infamous around these parts
Matt, sounds like we have a lot in common. I agree ref tires. I used to track my STi (including up at Tremblant; love that track!) and ran RE070's both road and track at first, before advancing to Nitto NT01's as my track tires. A world of difference. My 997 (road only; no track) came with Hankooks (not good!) and I replaced them with RE050's and was instantly impressed. So I was pleased to see that the AM comes with RE050's as well. Hence I'm a little surprised at the 'bump steer'-ish aspect to them. I know, the suspension setup and balance is very different; I was expecting improved stability and predictability compared to the 997. Hence wondering about alignment (but no obvious wear patterns on the tires).

Ref the warranty thing, I typically don't do that! In this case I heard enough stories that I figured it's worth the $4k (yup!) for that first 12 month peace of mind until I'm familiar with the car's quirks and foibles. I was actually surprised that the docking station price was just $1400; but that starts to justify the warranty price, and I'm only a couple of weeks in!

Cheers
