Redline MT-LV alternative to BOT270A

Hello
I recently purchased V8V, and plan to change all fluids.
The OEM transmission oil BOT270A is quite expensive and many have used Motul's or other 75W90.
I noticed a new product from Redline, MT-LV which is like BOT270A, a 70 weight fluid. It specifically state compatibility with BOT270A. From Redline website. I've used MT-90 on other car and happy with Redline products.
  • Recommended for Mercedes 235.10, Dodge/Fiat BOT 350 M3, GM BOT 303 mod, Toyota/Scion Manual Transmissions Gear Oil LV, VW/Audi and BOT270A Graziano Transaxle for Aston Martin, Audi & Lamborghini.
Website specifically refers to many concerns about alternate fluid, ie cold shifting.

Cheers

Personally I didn't want to take a chance or guess so I went with BOT270A and called it the day, in the end it is not something you do every year.

I used it a few yrs back worked great in the summer but when the temp went below 10 degrees my shift from 1st to 2nd after leaving my driveway in the am(unheated garage) would be stiff and if not done cautiously would grind a little. I ended up going back to bot in the great scheme of things its short money.

I would give it a go to see how it works. I know it's not the same, but Redline NS was magic in my 964 and really made the trans work better than all other fluids. I have BOT270A in my Vantage, even in Atlanta, 1/2 is still stiff and a bit difficult until after a few miles of driving. With that said after the fluid is warm, the shifting is super smooth.
