brake fluid change... anything special or needs resetting?
changing brake fluid sometime next few weeks... anything special needs to be reset? Modules, ABS , etc or a simple flush fill and bleed?
I use a Motive pressure bleeder. No special process. But it doesn't flush the ABS pump, which is typically a very small amount of fluid. I suppose if I thought about it, I'd stab the brakes to cycle that fluid, but I've not bothered.
To my understanding, that won't flush the fluid in the ABS pump. Only cycling the ABS pump, either through the AMDS (as Aston instructs) or through activation on the road can do that.
When I flushed the brake fluid on my 2007 V8V, I took it out on the road when it was raining and did a few hard stops which activated the ABS. Came back and did another regular brake line flush at all 4 wheels. Probably over kill but it was just 1 more bottle of fluid

Don't forget to also flush the clutch at the same time as it is often forgotten... I don't think mine was ever done seeing how black the fluid came out... You will have to go under the car for that one, right by the clutch.
well after talking to my dealer, I think for $250, I'm going to have them do the brake and clutch fluid change... with the hassle of purging ABS and the AMDS for the ASM clutch, seems reasonable...
besides, they always do courtesy alignment check and system check for the car.
