Another Stupid Key Question

I have a 2009 V8V Roadster and it came with one Crystal Key and one "valet key." At least I think it's a valet key. It's in rough shape, seems to unlock dooes and has the 4 buttons. When I insert it into the dash, the car turn ON, but won't start. So i;m guessing the key is "paired" but not a 2nd key?

I'd like to buy a 2nd key in case of emergency, and I dont care about the crystal key. What is my cheapest option?

I also do NOT have the metal lock out key people talk about, so i'm guessing AstonBits is best for this? ($125 roughly)

Hello. I have a 14 V8V. Over the summer I purchased a new skeleton key from Atlanta Aston in case my fob died. Sent a few emails out and got their response. Easy to deal with. Courteous & prompt. Key was like $300. The valet key has to be programmed at dealership. I am 3hrs away so I didn't buy one. They are quite expensive anyway. I will list the email address for Daniel.
