DSC Temporarily Off at Start-up - Randomly

I just noticed that I am getting DSC off at random times at start up of my 2007 DB9 Volante. Car goes through system check then quickly get this warning after I start car. It goes away quickly, and shows no red or yellow alerts. I am assuming that DSC means "Directional Stability Control" - I don't drive that aggressively, and rarely activate the traction control - usually it is because the tires are cold and I accelerate too quickly. Is this just one of those quirky things that I should ignore, or pay some attention? The weather has been a bit cold lately (0C) so that might be causing issues.

Thanks

Scott

Have your battery tested, on start up if it goes low and doesn't recover the car sees below 12v and will issue a fault message.

I had a similar problem on my BMW and it turned out to be bad ABS sensor... maybe get that checked...

I had this with error stating DSC Temp Off and DSC Service required. Turned out to be a Faulty Brake Pressure Transducer Failure, £90 part from aston (only place to get it) and a 5 min job with a 24mm spanner (its on the underside of the Brake Servo unit (Looks like has a big silver nut) Undo counter clockwise (as in turn towards drivers side if a UK car) but have a little cup under to catch the little bit of brake fluid you lose), pop the new one on and voila!

I have driven it multiple drive cycles and it has not reappeared. Perhaps the battery is getting a bit old - having purchased the car in September, and the car sat on the lot for a while, the battery may be on its last legs. I will check the date on the battery.

Good idea on battery... so many cars these days experience random glitches because of weak batteries... I replace then every three years or so in all my vehicles and boats.
