Guys I noticed one difference in later models is it has a different shaped, updated steering wheel vs the 2014 model.
Is there a way to retrofit the newer shaped steering wheel to replace the old round one? Cost?

From 2014 to 2018 the standard steering wheel on Vanquish is round. You can option for the 177 style steering wheel which is the different shape that you mention. When I got my 2014 that is one of the options I had to have.

This is my 14 Vanquish

Beautiful!!!
Makes sense some have them and some don’t...so it’s an option.
I saw some of these steering wheels for sale and wonder if it’s just a simple swap.

I would image it would be a direct swap. All electrics are the same, just the wheel is different.

The "One-77" wheel is a simple swap. Parts can be found on several websites, including AstonMartinBits (d0t) com. Shouldn't take more than an hour or so to do. I'll be doing it myself (along with carbon fiber paddles) on my '14 Vanquish this spring. Enjoy the car, it's a beaut!

Congrats on the Vanquish! Do you ever miss the manual? I think one day I may trade my manual V8V for a manual DBS. Although I have never driven the DBS so not sure how I'd like it. I'm sure it sounds better than the V8!

I would answer as such...
I really don’t miss my old manual DBS. If I were to go back to a manual Aston, it would be a manual V12 Vantage...reason being, when I drive a manual, I want to be able to engage in all aspects of the car including the handling. I would want a nimble car as a manual...Vantage, Porsche, Lotus or a gated 430.
The DBS is a comfortable GT cruiser...handling is not its forte. Rowing through the gears was cool but it was underpowered.
I would say stick with your manual V8V, as the Vantage is such a nimble platform.

Congrats, how do you find interior room vs your dbs? Would a young child be able to sit in back for short periods? Thx.

I have made a number of purchases from Aston Martin Bits and have received great service. I have an order scheduled for delivery this Friday.

I’ve got 4 kids, ages 13, 9, 7 and 5. My 13 yr old is taller than me and it would be a torture chamber for him in the back. My 9 and 7 yr old sit back there and barely fit. I’ve sat my 5 yr old in the back who is fine but technically needs a booster seat - the only booster seat that fits is a Bubble Bum, so you have to be comfortable with that.
Amount of seat room and space is the same as the DBS.
I will say I enjoy the updates of the Vanquish interior above my old DBS. The center console is updated (still old tech but never use nav in cars anyhow), font on gauges is updated, like the quilted leather pattern.
I just need the One-77 wheel!

I like the pre-Vanquish style gauges more. Vanquish's are too mono-tone. The rest of the interior is a good evolution otherwise. Vanquish is supposed to have more inside room than the DB9
