Get the parts and I will get em done for you. I should be able to help you out except for getting parts - I live in Newport, my garage in Downey, CA so I can pickup and drop off for you. Send me a PM with what is needed to be done including any other items. Chat soon.

is it just me or is $500-600 too much labor only to get all 4 brake pads changed?

I'd ask for that if someone would pay it.

Official AM workshop
1.1h front (you must Remove and discard the two bolts that attach each brake caliper to the adapter bracket.... and....Install and torque the two new bolts that attach the brake caliper onto the adapter bracket to 30 Nm, then 80 degrees more)

0.8h rear

times without brake bleeding

you’re right... I just checked my invoice, I only got charged for 1.5hr labor on the rear brake pad service. I had other things done such as replacing the air filters, as well as a cabin filter and didn’t pay attention to the breakdown as well as I should’ve.

That's for the CCM brakes as you need to extract the pads from the front of the calipers. Hence the replacement of the TTY bolts.

What's the rotor thickness? Looking fine does not mean they meet the min spec. Besides that's a decent price for oem parts and work.

How much lower are you expecting? You don't have the skill set to diy. You have to rely on someone's expertise. Are you also apprehensive that someone might mess up your car? Seriously dude. Go to the dealer. Get it done. Or don't drive the car.

if i could get enough clients i'm confident that i could make 10,000 easy in about a week at that rate, with no overhead. takes about 1-1.5 hours for all four wheels. easier than my dodge ram 1500 pickup truck. heck, i spent 45 minutes the other day trying to put on a new bosch windshield wiper and never did get the damned thing on.
