Go to a race shop like GMG or BBI Auto. Another option is an independent Aston mechanic. There were a few down south mentioned here.
They change brake pads very quickly and shouldn't charge too much.
Last option: if you have a mechanically inclined friend, go through it together by watching DIY videos.
Upgrading to some porterfield brake pads?

Let me guess. Dealer probably charges an hour per corner and that includes spending time bedding in the brakes after installation. Assuming of course, they also check for leaks, thickness of the rotors, the wear indicators, discoloration of brake fluid, and the wear/tear on the piston boots. $1k excluding pads?
If you have access to a floor jack and some basic tools changing brake pads is one of the easiest things you can do on the car. I think easier than changing oil and filter. There are a few how-to's on Youtube. Plus with the wheels off you can give them a good cleaning inside and out and the wheel well area too.
Even throwing in the cost of a jack and tools you'll come out way under their price.

I highly suggest teaming up with a mechanically inclined friend to do the job if you're not confident. But any reasonably competent mechanic can do the brakes on this car. Find a Porsche mechanic. They're everywhere, like rabbits.

Sounds like they don't want to work with you, how many miles on your car? You can usually go 2-3 pad changes before rotors need replacement. Racing Brake dot com has brake rotor/pad combos that would be an alternative which are local. Also pads from Porterfield they are in Costa Mesa for direct purchase.
If the rotors are smooth, you don't need to replace them. Just replacing the pads doses not require AM's high priced hourly rate. I switched my OEM pads for Porterfield's on my 09 Vantage roadster myself. Easy job. If you can't do it, any competent garage can do it for you..
I invested in a QuickJack because I knew I'd want to tackle easier projects like that, as well as save the tires from getting flats on them over the winter months. Then with Porterfield R4-S pads and some supplies from the local auto store I watched a couple YouTube videos. The best one is Aston1936:
Maybe watch another couple like this
and this
The project was easy and results were fantastic. I liked that not only did I save a pile, I could invest in some home tooling and clean everything out nice and new under there.
I can help via FaceTime if you need, too, but it's really not difficult.

Get some Porterfield pads from Redpants watch his diy video and do it yourself. Won’t take as much time as giving her a wash and wax. Get to know your car and you will enjoy it more. Come on man it’s a toy play with it. If you screw up or have questions this forum will have your back and help you.
Everyone will say I am nuts for saying this but have Midas do the work. Bring your own pads and have them do the work. They will cheaper than anyone except yourself. Or any other brake shop should be able to do the work. Just make sure they Jack the car on the Jack points. They will also have the work done in an hour or so. If you need new rotors that is a different story. But you could buy rotors and bring them just in case. Just a thought.
