The continuous pop-up screen on my 2017 V12S which has been serviced 3 times (finally replaced) would not be covered. Aston really needs to get their act together and offer coverage competitive with others. I'll extend my warranty to 5 years, but after that it does not seem worth it unless the car has a questionable past. My first V12S (a deceptive sale on Aston's part) was tracked. After Aston traded it and sold that car to another, it's been in the shop 11 months with things like a new engine, new computers, windshield, both headlights, new shifter paddles, two new clutches (under warranty), and much more. The next V12S (Aston replaced) was a local owned non-tracked car - zero issues. My current V12S essentially I'm the first owner (I paid a premium for that), so far a new entertainment screen system, two new tail lights and nothing else. I'd agree with no warranty on a used older Vantage, not worth it. I talked to a Chevy rep on extended warranty on the C8 Corvette (I'm on the list), no annual inspections, and he thought an extended warranty would be available to 80,000 miles but was not sure.
You may be confused on warranty coverage. Aston Martin offers two extended warranties....Plus and Premium. The Plus excludes oil leaks.
I have the Premium on my 2012 V12 Vantage. The warranty previously covered several oil leaks which would have cost about $5K to fix.
Also, the infotainment system is completely covered.
Thanks,
JH

OK, thanks for the clarification - I'm the type that likes the piece of mind of having a warranty, and would extend mine as long as possible with the premium one.

I am confused. The AM website “The Aston Martin Extended Service Contract offers a single high level of coverage”. I also called several dealers for quotes, but none of them mentioned different levels. Is it because AM changed its warranty recently?

Just chatted with a local dealer. He said the “plus” coverage is not available any more. The good news is the oil leaks are covered now, bad news is the coverage price is high
