The next V12S (Aston replaced) was a local owned non-tracked car - zero issues. My current V12S essentially I'm the first owner (I paid a premium for that), so far a new entertainment screen system, two new tail lights and nothing else. I'd agree with no warranty on a used older Vantage, not worth it. I talked to a Chevy rep on extended warranty on the C8 Corvette (I'm on the list), no annual inspections, and he thought an extended warranty would be available to 80,000 miles but was not sure.

You may be confused on warranty coverage. Aston Martin offers two extended warranties....Plus and Premium. The Plus excludes oil leaks.
I have the Premium on my 2012 V12 Vantage. The warranty previously covered several oil leaks which would have cost about $5K to fix.
Also, the infotainment system is completely covered.
