Cracked front bumper

So I'm normally super careful when driving my Aston but I kissed a curb ever so gently pulling into a parking spot. I crack the bottom of the front fascia and bent the skid plate. Question is now who should I take it to for the paint work. It's not a garage queen but I still would like the job to look like factory again and not have the paint mismatch or poor quality. I live in Carlisle PA but I have no clue who I should take it to for the estimate. There are body shops around but that's just for the run of the mill factory paint jobs. Any help?

The good news is that modern paints, while exceedingly toxic are really easy to shoot. The real work is in the preparation. And as the bumper is plastic, you have to include the correct additive to the paint. I prefer Dupont's systems, but PPG is practically perfectly good as well. What you want is a shop that cares. In NoVA that is Ray's Autobody. I painted my austin healey about 10 years ago. It was amazingly easy compared to the old lacquer days of the 70s and 80s.

For what's it worth - I can't remember the last time I pulled into a parking space with a curb or parking blocks. . I've found backing in safer.

LOL... I completely rebuilt the front bumper system on my M5, beautiful paint job, new parts, it really looked sharp. Lasted 1 week until my wife destroyed it. I removed the lowering springs and lost the spare key. Haven't had a problem since.

Hi Rolltide0323.... You could contact Jon at Steel Wings in Warminster, Pa. I know not close to you but he could tell you if he knows anyone in your area or quote you.
Jon rebuilds and services Aston Martins...recently he held the AMOC event at his place. I have used him for serving my car a few times and never a problem over the years.
He is a VAP dealer etc... a vendor here.
If wanting to perform the work yourself...contact Rich in Florida at Redpants.lol he is another vendor here and just decided to go full time with Redpants.
Good Luck...

PS:I would look into putting front and rear cameras that show on your GPS unit to save future problems or if you have the standard rear flip mirror use that instead for updating...
Aston installations from England works with Rich on these items.

I can absolutely recommend Steel Wings. Jon fixed my convertible top quickly and at a great price. He will be doing all my service from now on.

He gave my wife and I a tour of the shop. My DB9 looked out of place with all the DB3/4/5/6 and early Vantages present.

At least you don't have the carbon fiber front factory splitter like my 2012 V8VS - I learned the hard way that it's $6500 from the dealer for just the part. That turned into an expensive insurance claim.
