I haven't beaten **** as most people don't bother once they see the car. Majority of the people don't know the actual capabilities so when they see a supercar that's enough for them to not bother.

Anyway, why don't you start?

911T with stage 2 cobb, manual. Barely pull on it on a roll from 50. Mainly due to the auto trans shifting faster
2020 vantage. Stock. I am pleasantly surprised by the pulling power from the 4.0TT

1981 VW Thing with 'coexist' bumper sticker... she beat me off the line, I saw her bumper sticker and then really stomped on it... blew her fabric doors right off

When someone asks how fast my car is - I tell them 5 MPH over the speed limit. I used to belong to a local Porsche 928 club that would as a group go the back roads at way over 100 MPH. These cars hit their stride at triple digits, and when in a group, all reason and logic leaves your brain, and you are suddenly driving at incredible (illegal) speeds in a group of cars that are antiques, some with far over 100,000 miles. One day my 928 was in the shop, so I joined the group with my brand new 2007 Vantage. On spec's the Vantage should have blown away any 928, but at speed I could barely keep up which was surprising, as none of those cars had any kind of HP or torque to speak of. Anyway, I got pulled over by an off-duty cop as I passed him and he only wrote me up for 'reckless driving' which as lucky. Since then, no racing or chances. I agree - already won owning the Aston.

also not really sure why OP is obsessed with rolling races... Astons aren't about numbers and speed and drag racing on the street like a teenager... at all

you want to do rolling races go buy a suped up camaro or old ZR1 vette

My Porsche driving instructor friend was impressed enough with being a passenger in my Vantage that he was contemplating a Vantage track car instead of a 911.

I have no problem keeping up with a 997 turbo on squiggly mountain roads

funny you mentioned these... My daughter (now 21) and I used to auto cross and mildly track my x1 35i... Had it set up with a Juicebox tune, Intercooler and it would run 12.9 quarters and MSport suspension would run with Porsche Caymans...

Last year went and ran against her with the Aston and she held her own about .4 sec behind on a 1.20 minute autocross circuit...I don't own the Aston for racing, but just for the sheer pleasure of driving...

I would agree the aston is a more fun daily than alot of supercars. Thats what drew me to the new vantage. Its a complete hooligan at normal speeds but can can still hold its own against some really fast sports cars.... however, its not a land misile like my r8 was. The R8 pulled so hard the speedo just kept flashing huge chunks of climbing numbers and when you let go of the throttle you would say “holy ****”. I never got comfortable driving that car because i never truly sensed what the chassis and the tires were doing (until i was sliding or going way too fast). Also the ceramic brakes had very peculiar feel, i think there was too much programming in the booster for different situations and it caught me off guard alot.
The new vantage does mid 9’s 60-130 and high 11’s quarter stock... which is really moving. But the main positive ive found is the balance and driving sensation behind the wheel. I didnt expect that much engagement, but very happy overall
