DB9 Coil Packs vs V8V vs DB7
DB9 Coil Packs vs V8V vs DB7
Afternoon!
I'm trying to do a bit of reading around about the coil packs in the DB9, particularly the 07+ 3 pin coil packs which are more expensive than the 2 pin ones shared with the Jag S-type.
There are a few types of 3 pin coil pack around for the cars mentioned, each one has its own price - ie DB9, V8V and DB7's each have their own 3 pin coil from what I can gather. Each one is a different price.
Does anyone know what the differences are between them? Is it simply a case of the boots being different lengths, in which case you could just buy the cheaper coil and re-use the old boots, or is there something more to it?
Whilst we're on the subject, does anyone know of any coil packs except genuine AM ones which are as good and will work in the DB9 without paying the Aston Tax?
Cheers 👍🏻
