If you remove them carefully they can be reused. I've had a spare set sitting in a drawer for years now, but still haven't needed them after multiple pad changes.

If you remove them carefully *and they haven't already tripped* you can reuse them.

You can't leave them disconnected (you'll get a constant brake alert if you do), but if you have working sensors, you can zip-tie them out of the way. I'd only recommend this if you monitor your brake pad life on your own (I do frequent track days that I swap pads for, so I always know how my pads are doing and therefore have left the sensors off the pads).

sensors have not gone off... just wanted to have some on hand but can always disconnect and just wire the two sensor conductors together to cancel the warning...

I think I found some generics for under $25 instead of dealer cost...

NiceAst is infamous around these parts
You can just unplug them and jump the pins together on the harness plug to eliminate the warning.

Hi...I wire tied mine up two years ago when I changed to using the Brembo Brake pads. As long as the sensors have not been set off...not an issue.
But as warned check your pads regularly so not to harm the rotor...
Safe driving...

You might consider cleaning with brake cleaner and carefully remove with needle nose pliers to avoid cracking the sensor.
