Thumbs up Aston Martin Transmission Direct-To-Consumer Program

Hi All,

I wanted to spotlight a very unique situation I found myself in this winter and how I came across a US based company who can provide critical Aston transmission components and full units direct to consumer completely outside of AM dealers!

My current Aston is a 2006 4.3 V8V Manual with nearly 60,000 Miles. I Purchased the car third hand, way below market with full knowledge that it needed work (I planned on doing a lot of mechanical changes so it was the perfect find for me). After three owners, a Clutch and Flywheel upgrade, and lots of track time, the OEM transmission's age began to show, and one day the differential let go while doing a hard pull. I Immediately thought the worst as used AM Transmissions are nearly impossible to come by, or so I thought.

I found a company called HCF Autosport (https://hcfautoparts.com). HCF pulls transmission components and fully rebuilt Graziano units from the same stock the AM dealers do, while completely bypassing the Aston Martin Tax many of us have come to know. After carefully reviewing my options, I decided to order a fully-rebuilt transmission (with a warranty) for my Vantage from HCF. It shipped immediately and my local exotic repair shop got right to work swapping the transmissions. I was also able to send HCF my broken Graziano transmission to be rebuilt and used for someone else!

My beloved Aston was finally back on the road thanks to HCF.

The new gearbox feels amazing!

So again I want the AM community to know that if you have issues with your transmission (transaxle), check out HCF!

Great detective work finding these guys. Please keep us updated. Can you comment on their pricing vs straight from a dealer?

That would be interesting, but would require some additional software and a new center console I believe.
