I'm in the market for a v8 vantage, and while I wait for the right spec to come along, I am thinking about wheels. love the fact that the v8 vantage looks incredibly classy and elegant and yet the shape is so sporty and almost like a race car at the same time. I don't think any other car quite pulls that off. And so although I want to keep the car looking mostly stock, I've never been a fan of any of the stock wheels. But I love the Aston Martin racing wheels I've seen, so I would like wheels that evoke that "motorsport" kind of look.
I'm thinking of getting the OZ racing wheels that appeared on the Vantage GT4:
These wheels from the DBR9 are also great, although I have no idea if they would fit on a Vantage:
The V8 Vantage GTE wheels go in a slightly different direction but they also look awesome:
The newer Vantage GTE wheels look great, too:
But these all seem to be dedicated racing wheels. Not sure if any of these will fit a stock vantage except for the first ones, and I read that even with those there will be rubbing. And for some reason, it's very hard to find street wheels that have this "motorsport" look to them. OZ, which I believe makes most of these wheels, have.a couple street wheels with similar designs (like the leggera or the superturismo), but they just don't have the same effect at all. The only street wheel I found that kind of pulls this look off is the BC Forged RS43:
So I was wonderrng are there other options that evoke this motorsport kind of look? I hope you get the idea and I'm not being too vague. Also, will any of the other Aston Martin racing wheels will fit on a v8 vantage (besides the first one, which I know does).

The wheels you have pictured are center lock wheels so you'll have to do a hub conversion.
I went with Forgeline GT1 5-lug monoblock wheels for my New Vantage. Custom offset so they are flush with the fenders. I also went wider than stock with fatter rubber.
Check out Forgeline's site. I think you'll find a wheel that suits your taste.

Thank you! I had not heard of Forgeline, seems like their designs are clearly more motorsport oriented than street bling, this is helpful.

You're welcome. I liked several wheels in their one-piece monoblock series. I ended up going with the GT1 5-lug finished in satin black. You can see my New Vantage (white with yellow accents) in their customer gallery.
Be sure to post some pics with whatever wheels you end up getting.
As far as stock wheels go, I normally agree with you. But in this case, the Vantage does have some very nice options. The Vantage GT wheels come to mind, as well as the sport pack wheels from the 09-up models.
I'm actually buying a set of stock wheels from another member here to put on the car because I'd like a thicker sidewall than I have with my 20" HREs, which do have some of the motorsport look you're talking about but are a great street wheel.

David Appleby in the uk can supply the oz prodrive wheels or check out apex. Ali has them on his car (he also has 18” 5 spoke speed lines which look nice)

I actually came across a picture of your car earlier this week and was admiring the yellow accents. Well done on that! Also good choice on wheels, I've been browsing their stuff, although I am leaning towards the OZ racing wheels that appeared on the Vantage GT4. I will definitely post pictures when complete!

Thanks! I thought about the N24 wheels, definitely a very functional look, as far as five-spoke designs go I really like them, although I think I want to go in a different direction.
Good call on APEX! I forgot about them. The APEX wheels in the picture you posted do look reminiscent of the Vantage GTE wheels. I like them. I have a set of BBC RC300s on my '05 Cooper S on which the APEX ARC-8 wheels are obviously based, but APEX seems to have done a really good job -- would be interesting to have two cars with the same wheel design... hmmmm.
Funny story about the BBS RC300s, I searched a long time to find a set in the size I wanted, finally bought them from guy in Finland -- at the time, the seller wanted me to pay him in Bitcoin -- this was 2013. I almost bought bitcoin back then just for these wheels, and considered buying extra just to invest then. Oh well. Most of it would have been spent on the wheels anyway.
