Vantage door speakers

The door speakers in my '09 Vantage seem to be blown. Are there any direct replacements that don't cost too much?

Ye eBay....get a set of cell phone headphones....

open the door card (easy to do) the speaker comes out with three torque screws ...take it out go to auto zone and they will have a similar size cheap.

i would of course just replace it with a decent speaker we are really not talking about a lot of money.

Ps don’t drop any screws or anything if it goes to the front of the the door you will have rattles and it’s difficult to get it out without dismantling the window glass assembly
Put a big rag in before you start to pull it apart.....ask me how I know

I replaced all speakers with Focal. For the doors I went 5.25", took some work though. It's an upgrade in sound quality, though the stock speakers are pretty decent.

Annulus replacement

Happened to stumble across this video the other day.
Don't know if the damage is similar to what you have experienced.

Had to look up what was being replaced:

@Kalepsis I think I may still have 2 of my old speakers. I will throw them in with the wheels, no charge.

I'm pretty sure the previous owner just played the system too loud and ripped the cones in the door speakers. It's a "rattling paper" sound accompanied by some distortion. I haven't removed the door cards yet to see what kind of physical damage there might be.

Found them! I'l send both with your wheels. Technically they are back speakers, but I believe they are identical?

That's great, thanks! I don't know if they're the same but if not I'll keep them as spares for when the rears eventually go.

The premium sound system in later model cars used the same speakers in the door cards and rear mounting points.
