v8V was unlocked in the garage. A few days passed and noticed side mirrors folded and doors were locked. I never noticed it doing this by itself. Usually, the car will stay unlocked. First time catching this incident.

Is there an automatic locking mechanism? Does anyone know how long it times before it automatically locks itself and if this feature can be turned off?

 

I hope not, I leave my keys in my car. I've left the car for 4 months unlocked.

 

according to the manual for my 2009 V8V...
'If the vehicle is locked and then unlocked but a door or the boot lid is not opened within two minutes, then the vehicle will automatically lock and arm again...'
