Comfort vs Sport suspension....

This has been discussed before but not sure how to search to locate it.

What's the difference between comfort and sport suspensions on a 2015 Vantage V8S.

My car was delivered with a comfort suspension but I sometimes find myself wishing the cornering of the car was more "flat".

So if I wanted to "massage" my comfort suspension to obtain flat cornering, what would I replace?

Thanks in advance.

There was a major difference in the feel. The comfort still handled very well but would float over the rough road and get upset a little if it was at an apex, where the sport would transfer the shock, but stay planted extremely well over rough patches. I ended up buying a 2010 sport and there a dip and patch at the apex of the S on my exit that would really upset the sport pack on my Z and bounce it to the outside, but the V stays planted without upsetting it at all, of course you do feel it thru the seat though.
This is the phenomenon I'm talking about. I'm looking to eliminate this.

I've not driven a comfort suspension car, mine's got the sport. I love it. Yes, it is stiff and on the highway I could see that a little softer damping would make it more comfortable, but the combination of the forged wheels and the more immediate steering response make it a very entertaining sports car. It doesn't feel quite as heavy as it is, but it does still feel heavy. Also, as has been stated before on the board, tires make a big difference in ride.

If you're on the fence concerning giving up the ride advantage of the comfort suspension, you might consider just uprating the sway bars. I've done just sway bars on several of my cars and found that the ride is not noticeably changed but it does improve cornering flatness and steering response. Sometimes it's not been night and day other times it completely changed the attitude of the car, but it does have a noticeable difference either way. Unfortunately, on this car the options are limited. You could get the sport suspension bars from AM or I see that David Appleby Engineering offers options on thickness (they might just be factory bars, not sure). It would be nice to get adjustable bars to be able to dial in the stiffness as desired, but I don't immediately see any options for that on the Vantage.

I did that, upgrading to the factory sport sway bars on my V8V. Very notable improvement in cornering. Recommended!
