Problem with HID on my '07 vantage

Hi everyone,

So during heavy rain, one of my hid went dead, I have switched right and left and found out that the problem stayed on the same side.

I then switched the ballast and fount out that the problem switched side and that my daylight are not leveling.

I now have two more questions:
1) Any aftermarket replacement available?
2) Why are my lights not leveling anymore?

To my understanding there is no connection between the ballast and the leveling.
Also I dont understand what you mean by "daylights" ?
Did you switch off ignition completely inbetween?
The leveling moves the whole inside unit, so both HID & high beam projectors.
When you first switch on the main lights, the leveling travels from a low (resting) position to normal position.
Also you there is leveling when you switch on/off high beam (level raised/lowered).

Ok so here I was having two questions and solved one.

The headlight adjustment happens only the first time you turn the light on, after that they stay leveled even if you close the light but keep the power on.

As for the HID, could I just plus an aftermarket set of ballast and hid instead of putting chineese replacement?
